With an M.A. in Environmental Policy Design and B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Lehigh University, Jennifer conducted research and analysis on the environmental security impacts of abrupt climate change in Peru for GlobalEESE/DOE.

Jennifer also assisted with research efforts for Benchmark Environmental Consulting, Inc. in the areas of global governance and international economic policy coherence.  Jennifer completed a Master’s thesis addressing trade efficiency and sustainability in the international legal system, and enhanced her language skills through study in Seville, Spain.

As a Research Associate for GlobalInt, Laura offers expertise in environmental security and foresight workshop methodologies, a strong research background on risk mitigation and environmental sustainability, and an inexhaustible devotion to participatory environmental activism and organizational networking.  Laura obtained a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and a Master’s in Environmental Policy Design from Lehigh University.

Laura was an active leader on the Lehigh campus, volunteering her time to initiate and coordinate many environmental sustainability initiatives. Laura worked as an intern for the Alliance for Sustainable Communities, where she conducted Lehigh’s first Greenhouse Gas Inventory.  In addition, she was one of the founding members and former President of the Environmental Coalition (ECo) in which she was instrumental in establishing events focused primarily on environmental advocacy and outreach to encourage sustainable practices among faculty, staff, and students at Lehigh.

Her activism also resulted in the development of a ‘Green Fund’ which assisted in the reduction of campus energy use, and the establishment of policies that encouraged the implementation of Lehigh’s Climate Commitment.

Laura has also worked at the US House of Representatives, and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
